Unique Wedding Venues in New South Wales in 2023
As a wedding photographer in New South Wales, I have come across wedding venues that are absolutely incredible, however they aren’t necessarily well known. I had to share some gems that I have seen that you need to consider when planning your wedding.
Knottapharm, Central Coast
Technically a holiday rental, Knottapharm in the Central Coast is one of, if not the most incredible venue that I have seen. It is the perfect combination of good accomodation, great natural ceremony options nearby and an outstanding layout for a wedding reception.

All View Escape, Blue Mountains
Breathtaking is the word to describe All View Escape. Located in the Blue Mountains, this venue has one of the most incredible views. The staff are very kind and helpful, and the photo shoot options are second to none. Not only from the mountains, however the surrounding pine trees give some of the best photo shoot opportunities in New South Wales.
Salt at Shoal Bay
If you are planning a more intimate wedding, I would of 70 people or less than Salt at Shoal Bay is definitely worth considering, especially if you love beach vibes. This location is stunning, and is right on the beach front in Shoal Bay. There are small ceremony opportunities inside and accomodation options for your bridal part as well.
Vinegrove Estate, Mudgee
If you’re up for a drive, Vinegrove Estate is a fantastic venue out in Mudgee. It’s unlikely that you know anyone who has been married here, making it a very unique venue. One thing I appreciated is that the main Mudgee street for café’s and restaurants is essentially one long street. The cool thing is the day before the wedding, you’re bumping into friends and family and it creates a really nice lead into the big day.
